Ms. Dawn R. Sanders



Ms. Sanders has collaborated with geographically diverse, multi-disciplinary teams (Contracts, Procurement, Engineering, Project Management) for the re-design and maintenance of several government (U.S. Department of the Navy and U.S. Department of the Air Force) Web sites for the purposes of facilitating secured financial reporting and viewing of monthly technical reports for large-scale (multimillion-dollar) remedial construction projects.

Her experience includes from-the-ground-up development and integration of third-party database tools (Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Oracle) to support project status, e-commerce, and subscription-based web sites. Ms. Sanders is experienced with the use of Unified Modeling Language (UML) database modeling for streamlining design methods in the development of web-based and non-web-based software applications.

Ms. Sanders is experienced with the selection and integration of common gateway interface (CGI) scripts, JavaScript, VBScript to enhance web site visitor experience (e.g., event calendars, user registration functionality, and e-mail marketing). Ms. Sanders has developed training documents for, and conducted training in, the use and administration of database systems, HTML editing, Web marketing, Web publishing techniques, and e-commerce database functionality.

Ms. Barbarette Newton


Ms. Newton specializes in, and has developed, numerous Mentor-Protégé programs that have been instrumental in Small Business owners succeeding in growing their businesses and gaining significant contracts with larger firms. Ms. Newton offers an extensive amount of experience in the industries of:

Parker (Ms. Mary Ann)


Parker has 30 years’ experience in graphic design, with a specialty in community relations. Her education is in visual communications, corporate design, business-to-business marketing communications and she has worked extensively in the printing and publishing industries.

Prior to working on military community relations, Parker worked with private-sector developers. She created and implemented community relations plans, including public education programs, worker environmental safety programs, and media relations. For the past eight years, Parker has worked primarily with the Corps on community relations projects. In addition, Parker has provided community relations support for several other military cleanup projects, including the Deseret Chemical Depot, Dugway Proving Grounds, and the Tooele Army Depot. Parker has hosted and facilitated dozens of public meetings, developed fact sheets, newsletters, public education programs, websites, and worker education programs, as well as assisting with starting up and running Restoration Advisory Boards. One of her key strengths is in listening to public concerns and developing strategies and materials to address them.

Ms. Patt Steiner



Ms. Steiner brings over 20 years of experience to the business community with specializations in strategic planning, organization development, process improvement, and employee advocacy. Tackling implementation of business and process improvements to improve an organization’s productivity has been Patt’s focus for many years. Patt started her career at Lotus Development Corporation and from there went on to eventually hold senior positions at Digital Equipment Corporation, Motorola, and others. Patt has been a guest speaker for many organizations including the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Boston University, The Society for Software Quality, and Cornell University. Among other accomplishments, Patt holds a degree in Music Performance, and has performed with the Boston Pops, the Florida Symphony, the Oakland (CA) Symphony, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. She is now principal of her own consulting firm, VentureSphere.

Ms. Katharine Whipple



Ms. Whipple possesses an entrepreneurial marketing communications mentality and integrates skills and experience in conceptualization, strategic planning, writing and copy writing, editing, promotions, PR, effective use of various media, trade show and business conference planning and representation, direct marketing and sales. She excels in writing and editing marketing copy, and other content, for a diverse product/services mix, and is quick to grasp and communicate new product knowledge, company services and organizational strategy. Ms. Whipple has an international mindset and speaks fluent French. In 2008, Ms. Whipple was the executive producer and on-screen interviewer for an original half-hour documentary “Super Tuesday Live in Paris!” It portrays the insights and emotions of American voters in Paris during the 2008 US Democratic Primary, when the candidates were Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
